Of all the lions I have ever lived with this one is by far my favorite. My husband would always tell me you have enough pictures of lions, thousands. But this was a special lion, on a special day that can never be replicated or recounted again. I've always lived my life as a champion for wildlife especially lions. Fall in love with our planet. We only have one. Let World Lion Day, be everyday.

Always the first lion I see in the morning and the last one I see at night. This lady has become a fixture in our lives. It's a privilege to wake up everyday and see her. I love this photo because it captures her perfectly. The same floppy seat, her full belly, and her relaxed glare. She is perfect.
Celebrate #WorldLionDay and help raise awareness about the fight to #LetLionsLive. If you haven't already, be sure to take the pledge at letlionslive.org.
